I sent her a screen capture of the profile and she said that was her profile from a site called MatchMaker and that her account with them had been closed for 1 1/2 years. Her profile on OurTime said she’d been active in the past week. This crooked website changes its “renewel” page every couple months. They have it so purposly deseptive that you cant figure out if your renewing or getting out! If you accidently click an arrow and they charge you $80.00 you will NOT get a refund OR get any customer service.

This business has very dubious billing practices. I should know….I work in merchant disputes for a very large bank, and we process disputes against these people ALL THE TIME. Their rating with BBB is ‘F’ and for very good reason. What they are doing is not fraudulent, , but very bad business practices. Eventually they will lose the ability to even process payments from Visa and MasterCard if enough people file disputes against them.

I have had them tell me these same few guys are viewing me nearly every day. I finally got the nerve to ask 3 of them “Why do you view me nearly everyday and not say anything.” Two of them answered telling me they were not viewing me at all”. The two that did said this site is good at doing that. Wish I had looked into reviews before paying for 3 months. At 80, I learn something new every day. Then there if the fact though I enter the age group that I am interested or at least of an age to be interested in me and they post all kinds in their early 60’s and anywhere in the world.

Glad I didn’t waste my time with guys who don’t send real messages, after I read here that they send in fake guys to entertain the ladies without asking them out. Wish I would’ve read these reviews first. I signed up for 3 months and got charged for 6 months. Contacted them several times to refund the error. There was only one person I found out of the many dozens of profiles I had some interest in but because my card keeps getting turned down, I can’t access that profile.
I will not become involved with this company. I am not a member of OurTime and these reviews have saved me from joining. I write to suggest that if the lack of customer service is an issue, perhaps one might want to start at the top. I enjoyed using this site until my account “went away” for no reason. There is no way to contact a customer service person without first paying $35.

The e-mails were scammers from overseas. Most of the messages and “Likes” I have gotten are scammers. Rather than allowing members to opt in for automatic renewal, OurTime requires members to go through a many-step process to opt out of automatic renewal charges. I opted out the day I signed up, knowing I didn’t want to renew.
It has so many popups that you can’t read messages from people. They do not care about customer service because you also can’t get a message through to them. Buried in “My account” is a box labelled “Account Status”. When you first pull it up, the auto renewal is fixed to “Yes”. Buried somewhere in there (can’t remember where–sorry) is an edit option that allows you to turn this off. I did so, checked my account status, and it confirmed that auto renewal is off and that my membership will expire when it’s supposed to.
The matches are always with people too far away.. The ones you want to talk to have to be members as well, or no dice, no email. Waste of $$$ My profile was hacked two different times. I tried to log it but a sign in request for Cyberoam. Oh well, and I thought I would give it a try.
