I really started hating Se-ah somewhere in the middle, but I’m glad she was redeemed quickly. While I know a majority of you guys felt her character changed too abruptly, I think her main personality remained the same. She was still controlling but maybe focused on another target – first it was to get Ki-tae back, then it was to make Ki-tae’s life perfect.

And, reading all the comments here are all positive. The worst ending for you, one of the best endings for me. Hope the airing dramas give you more satisfaction. Thank you to you too, girlfriday and LollyPip. The MND experience won’t be as fun without you girls’ recaps. Yeah, it really genuinely feels like friends are moving away forever and all I have left is home-videos of them LOL.

I’m glad she got her happy ending even if I really expected the father of the child to be Yeo-rim. Such a satisfying ending to a solid https://datingstream.org/ drama. I have to admit the earlier episodes were my favourite, it went flat in the middle for me but the ending was done nicely.

When a mood is expressed, it is so surprising that the effect is magnified ten-fold. The subtle approach is so appropriate since she is playing a woman who has staked her life on hiding all her feelings to protect what is most important to her. Since the earliest episodes, we can see how annoying she is to Gi Tae, but also sense how her Tiger-mom devotion to him is rooted in deep love. And her little smirks behind Gi Tae and Jang Mi’s backs tell us that she is having more fun than she’s probably had in her entire life playing their game. And really, we can see near the end that we thought it was Gi Tae and Jang Mi’s game, but really, it’s been Mom’s game all along.

It can be hard for you to watch this because you might believe they are still in love with their ex. In reality, they are so angry and hurt about the abuse they’ve endured that they’re looking for a way to get closure. In the course of the relationship with a narcissist, a victim will become a people pleaser, because the narcissist expects their partner to give into all of their demands.

Of course, in both scenes (the fantasy and the real one), the highlight was Yeo Reum’s grin of schadenfreude. Even in her fantasy, Jang Mi knows that Yeo Reum will be enjoying the show. I want to respect my future soulmate the way jangmi does…

I’ll miss it, but endings like these make me feel like they all exist in the world I live, just that maybe I won’t get to see them onscreen anymore. That makes me feel better actually, which in turn makes me feel delusional LOL. Lastly, for those who may miss watching Yeon Woo Jin Last night I watched episode 1 of Kara’s Secret Love, Missing You. When this drama started I forgot about it and all the news that were posted here.

Involvement with John Edwards

He counters by asking why she gave Yeo-reum money, and she says it’s business and takes offense in turn at his suspicion. The wedding coordinator comes to get them since Hoon-dong has been calling the groom down the aisle for several minutes, but Jang-mi cries that she can’t get married feeling this way. Ki-tae and Jang-mi talk to her mother’s doctor, who’s optimistic about her surgery prognosis.

There’s a reason why you three were not invited, you know. I also really loved the portrayal of friendship and loyalty here. It’s actually very understated and sometimes ignored with many other things happening, but it’s one of my favourite aspects. Hoon-dong/Ki-tae, Hoon-dong/Jang-mi, Jang-mi/Hyun-hee, Yeo-rim/Jang-mi, Yeo-rim/Ki-tae… They all looked out for each other, were there when the other person needed a shoulder. Everyone has a different connection and they aren’t bonded as a group but more so individually.

I’m also liked it when the Grandma and Aunt commiserated with Ki Tae’s mom and not the dad because they knew how much hurt and suffering she endured over the years. Its weird how i dont feel the need to protest about otp getting together too long. I feel like they were just learning to see each other better with one wall falling after another as time passes. I even appreciate that it took them forever to acknowledge their feelings despite gitae actually falling for jangmi in like ep4.

Personal life and death

Well, I’m certainly glad the show didn’t cater to your needs because if the show hadn’t done what you fault it so much for in these last episodes then I would have been disappointed. (And Grandma! I love Grandma to bits!) You are now my favorite veteran actress and that’s saying a lot. I don’t think Mom would be as awesome if the character were to be handed to another actress.

They’re likely fearful of falling victim to abuse again, so they will not trust that their new partner is genuine. If someone has been the victim of abuse or violence in a previous relationship, it will likely have a significant effect on them. I had NO idea I’d get like this when the drama began. It started out cute and fun, but ended up becoming so much more than that.

Dubbed “Chuckie Baby” by his fans, Barris was a perfect fit with the show’s goofy, sometimes wild amateur performers and its panel of three judges (including regulars Jamie Farr, Jaye P. Morgan, and Arte Johnson). In the early 1980s, Patton was even pointed out by tour guides of incoming NBC tours as his onscreen character, while at the same time adhering to his more typical off-camera work duties. A victim of narcissistic abuse will learn to put aside their own basic needs in order to please the abuser. This is because they spend so much time trying to satisfy the narcissist that they do not have time to care for themselves. When you’re dating a survivor of narcissistic abuse, you may have to come to terms with the fact that they won’t always want to talk about the abuse.
